River Rescue

The course is designed to give the student a practical experience in swift water rescue techniques. The student will acquire the skills necessary to perform rescue on class 1, 2, 3 rapids. At the end of the course, the student will possess the skill level required for certification as an SRT-1 or SRT-2. PREREQ: PHED 3099 or PHED 0399 and PHED 3615. (exp 3) cr 1.5.
